Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity is available as Maintenance Assistant in the MSP business at Alderley Park. This is a full time position, reporting into the Technical Services Manager. You will be responsible for all aspects of service maintenance delivery and support within a complex and demanding R&D environment.

Role Responsibility

The successful candidate will be part of an Integrated Facilities Management team require a good knowledge of engineering support in regulated environments and experience of building maintenance. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work cross functionally to ensure business success and growth within the Research and development arena. They will take responsibility for the effective delivery of planned preventative maintenance schedules and reactive works and have knowledge of procedures and compliance with GxP & SHE expectation.

They will need to be focused on developing effective working partnerships with clients, proactively support and manage change and seek opportunities to develop and refine our service offering for our client via QofL services

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will:

Have a fundamental working knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
Have a background in general building services
Be comfortable working alone at times
Will have an understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and building systems in a healthcare environment.
Have a full UK driving licence
