Mail Room Porter
Job Introduction
The purpose of the job is to provide an efficient, professional mail service to our Clients and on site Contractors so involves sorting the incoming mail, delivering the mail correctly and timely and franking outgoing mail. There is also a requirement to organise and support stationery deliveries which involves manual handling
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written skills, strong customer service skills as well as having competent IT skills.
Package Description
The purpose of the job is to provide an efficient, professional mail service to our Clients and on site Contractors and so requires excellent communication and organisational skills.
A full UK driving licence, preferably clean, is an essential requirement for this role.
The successful individual will be required to:
- Sorting the incoming mail, delivering the mail correctly and timely and franking outgoing mail.
- There is also a requirement to organise and support stationery deliveries which involves extensive manual handling
- This position involves working mostly on your own so having the ability to prioritise tasks and be flexible is essential
- Previous experience preferred
- We require all our staff to have excellent customer service skills to enable us to provide our Clients and customers with an excellent level of service.
