Paralegal / Legal Contract Manager

Job Introduction

Sodexo are recruiting for a Contract Administrator / Paralegal to be based in the London office. We are looking for the Contract Administrator to strengthen our international team and provide dedicated support on one or more Global Strategic Contracts in a multi-cultural environment.

You will provide full range of contractual support and legal expertise for specific global client accounts. You will be dealing with all Contract Management activities including the implementation of local agreements and leading the contractual change process for the accounts as they grow. The Contract Administrator will report to the Senior Legal Contract Manager. It would be advantageous for the role holder to have experience within the Facilities Management sector and have worked on a commercial client facing account previously.

Role Responsibility

  • Support the drafting of local agreements under the Master Agreement working with local Legal Counsels.
  • Advise & train the wider teams on the Contractual requirements to increase compliance and drive profitability through a right use of the contracts.
  • Implement the contractual Governance, Change Control procedure and maintain historical logs.
  • Draft contractual caveats / give recommendations after having assessed the risks to precede changes and deviations from the agreed terms.
  • Ensure the right approval channel for contractual changes based on internal delegations and change control procedures.
  • Take part to Governance meetings with the Client and the Central Account Team. 
  • Ensure consistency with the Contract Management Tools & procedures already developed for other global accounts.
  • Contracts and Contractual deliverables in place
  • AII Group / Global Client Contracts DOAs & Contractual Governance embedded across the account
  • Reporting in place and monitored consistent with the other Accounts
  • Contractual knowledge spread across the Account and monitored (Training)
  • Risk assessment done through the chain working closely with the Subject Matter Experts at Account and Group levels and followed with concrete preventive and corrective actions.

The Ideal Candidate

  • An appropriate level of experience and evidence in drafting amendments and follow-up of contractual changes in a multi-jurisdictional environment (in legal arena).
  • Knowledge of Services Agreements and experience in the Facility Management Industry is advantageous
  • A paralegal background / experience is essential
  • Ability to prioritize work and to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, Team player
  • Strongly organized, with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to advice on contractual requirements and to support business in achieving compliance

Package Description

This role has a salary of £38,000 - £45,000, dependant on experience, with an array of benefits attached including bonus up to 15%, a flexible benefits fund, retailer discount schemes, annual leave and pension.
