Job Introduction

Four Acres is a unique site within our portfolio located in a private estate just outside Kingston Upon Thames.  Set in beautiful grounds this tranquil venue offers the perfect facilities for its residential meeting and training programmes

This position offers an excellent work life balance working hours  Monday – Friday with the occassional weekend overtime  

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of working within a 5*  Hotel /Events/ Corporate Services

Role Responsibility

  • Support all functions within Four Acres,
    • Hospitality
    • Catering
    • Housekeeping/Laundry
    • Events
    • Other

 

  • Provide a welcoming experience to all guests and visitors
  • Ensure general offices, business lounges and meeting rooms are clean, tidy and functional
  • Setup of meeting and event rooms
  • Provision of Portering Services
  • Deal directly with guests and resolve any issues efficiently delivering a consistently high level of customer service
  • Assist the Housekeeping/Laundry department
  • Support waste management
  • Replenishing of coffee stations ensuring areas are clean and tidy
  • Replenishing of bar
  • Assist with refreshment breaks
  • Assist the pot and dish wash area, taking responsibility for the washing up of all utensils, plates ensuring we meet food safety regulations
  • Assist with deliveries, ensuring paperwork matches the delivery, put away/store goods on arrival
  • Maintain the Company standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas
  • Ensure that all equipment and materials are returned to the appropriate storeroom at the end of each shift
  • Report any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food, near misses, hazards, and any other irregularities
  • Attend meetings and training courses (which may include travel to other locations) as may be necessary from time to time
  • Be fully conversant with all operating procedure and implement accordingly
  • Report any customer complaints or compliments to a member of the management team
  • Attend any other reasonable request by management
  • Ensure the safety and security of company and client property
  • Ensure you arrive for duty at the correct time and that your personal appearance is well groomed and meeting the company standards at all times.
  • Ensure that you wear the correct uniform provided and that it is clean and well maintained
  • Ensure that you are compliant with the Company and Statutory regulations, regarding hygiene, health and safety, food safety, chemical safety, COSHH in accordance with company policy and training
  • Be party to a flexible working “One Team” culture between areas and departments, taking initiative in colleagues’ absence from work area and covering other where required
  • To be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful at all times whilst carrying out duties to the highest standard
  • Any other tasks as requested by the manager
