Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

They will assist the kitchen team in providing all catering services for the college while working as part of a team to produce the desired results.

Role Responsibility

DUTIES

1. To ensure that the Company and Statutory regulations regarding health, safety and hygiene are complied with.

2. To ensure that the Company’s standards of cleanliness of the catering areas are achieved and maintained.

3. To exercise due care & attention to ensure minimal breakages of equipment.

4. To ensure that all catering equipment are cleaned in a timely manner

5. To undertake any reasonable requests by Management.

6. To always maintain a high standard of dress and behaviour.

7. To ensure that all aspects of the Food Safety Act 1990 are adhered to.

8. To attend training sessions and staff meetings.

9. To report any incident of accident, fire, theft, loss damage and take action as may be appropriate or possible.

IRREGULAR DUTIES:

1. To assist as required at special functions some of which may occur outside of regular hours, for which you will be paid overtime

2. To report any complaints and take action where possible

3. To assist with basic food preparation as required.

Package Description

Flexible Hours

Shifts available 7 days a week

Shifts between the hours of 9 am and 8 pm

52 weeks a year
