Junior Graphic Designer
Job Introduction
Due to business growth and a promotion within the team we are now looking to recruit a Junior Graphic Designer to be based from offices in Stevenage. Working within the food platform team you will create internal marketing artwork that supports our segments and services.
This role would ideally suit candidates with previous graphic design experience and experience of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. The role offers a competitive salary and annual bonus
Role Responsibility
- Ability to design artwork following brand guidelines but also have the creative flair to create branding and artwork from scratch.
- In charge of raising purchase orders and recharges for the teams cost centre.
- Leading a strong relationship with key stakeholders both internally and externally; including print management companies and segment representatives.
- Understanding the target audience for each piece of artwork produced and conducting research to maintain design integrity and to be able to offer best in class/high street equivalent quality design materials, which convey a clear and simple message.
- Driving innovation within the promotional strategy through embedding new trends within graphic design.
- Managing the sourcing of photos and images to support creative designs through image libraries such as iStock and liaising with suppliers for product images.
- Ability to manipulate sourced photography and vector images to incorporate into required creative designs.
- Must be able to review and proof read all digital proofs to ensure there are no errors in terms of copy, spelling, terms and conditions to be able to produce accurate and high quality work.

- Understanding of latest high street consuming trends and their impact in a commercial environment.
