Ireland Operations Country Lead

Sodexo have a fantastic opportunity to join our business as the Ireland Operations Lead to transform our Client’s organisation. As the lead you will play a key role in defining and driving the design of all workplace activities. The role of the Ireland Operations Lead will have a track record of delivering high quality FM services; this experience will include a strong background in creating an outstanding customer experience, specifically in the Front of House and Events area.

The Ireland Operations Lead will be pivotal in standardising and creating a holistic approach to the customer journey experience.

The Ireland Operations Lead will have sound experience in managing a P&L and achieving successful results.

Role Responsibility

  • Working with the client to identify opportunities to implement Quality of Life and Wellness initiatives
  • Working as part of the Transformation team to drive the transformation agenda across the account
  • Recruit, train and develop key talent in our industry and maintain at all times the company’s standards, within the agreed specification and to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets as laid out in the contract agreement and to Sodexo policy. 
  • Oversight and reporting on key metrics – linking performance to the clients stated business goals
  • To actively work with Regional Account Leads and SMEs as part of the Senior Leadership team
  • Assisting the business to grow revenue streams by innovation and training and complying with local marketing and purchasing initiatives to drive sales and consumer participation
  • Understanding of the business units across the business specifically financial documentation and accountancy of the sites is accurate and within agreed budgeted levels for all workplace activities.
  • Comply with all Company and Client policies and procedures, site rules and statutory regulations including Health & Safety, safe working practices, cleanliness, fire and COSHH in line with European legislation. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in the work place and training of staff.
  • To establish and maintain excellent relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation.
  • Establish and effectively lead a highly capable workplace team who will deliver against the strategic growth objectives

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Experience of having operated successfully within an outsourced integrated facilities management
  • Demonstrable track record of developing successful operational strategies across a broad portfolio of services
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Considerable experience in sector contracting and sector technical service delivery 
  • Proven financial acumen essential with commercial experience and business acumen
  • Proven track record of initiating and leading demanding business change programmes
  • Proven experience of developing profitable relationships with clients
  • Proven experience in identifying new business
  • Proven experience in managing multi-site operations
  • Proven track record of leading and managing experienced operators and large numbers of employees
  • Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills
  • High standards of numeracy and written communication

 

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Sodexo systems and processes
  • NEBOSH  – National General Certificate and/or Diploma or country equivalent Health & Safety qualification

 

Other relevant information

  • Regular travel and overnight stays will be required
  • To relieve and assist in other establishments in certain circumstances.
  • To attend meetings and training courses as requested.
  • This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged and the range of duties and responsibilities to be undertaken.  It does not attempt to detail every activity.  Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.  The post holder will be required at all times to perform any other reasonable task, as requested by the Line Manager in order to meet the operational needs of the business.
