Instrument Support Specialist trainee

We are looking to recruit an Instrument Support Specialist trainee to be part of our growing engineering and Laboratory team based at a Global Pharmaceutical Contract in Montrose Scotland.
Role Responsibility
- Responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance of HPLC and GC in accordance with the client’s current processes and validation requirements.
- Support procurement with ensuring current service providers relevant terms and conditions are correct and up to date in line with sites current equipment servicing requirements.
- Assist the Instrument support specialist with on-site laboratory engineering support
- Manage the scheduling and organisation of any 3rd party vendors.
- To ensure Sodexo and 3rd party vendors maintain current and relevant RAMS.
The Ideal Candidate
- Graduate- Degree in Chemistry or Engineering discipline.
- Good communication skills.
- Self motivated, flexible and adaptable.
- Customer focused – managing their expectations and resolving any issues effectively and efficiently
- Good understanding of chemicals and hazards.
- Experience working in a standards/compliance, GxP environment.
