IFM Lead (Director, FM)

Job Introduction

We are looking to recruit and exceptional facilities professional into our business.

Working as the Site Director at this very high profile site based in Hertfordshire, you will be accountable for the delivery of all services with a strong emphasis on hard service delivery. This is an exciting role for a highly experienced Technical Services Manager to utilise their skills and help to grow our business.

Role Responsibility

  • Effectively manage the Sodexo team to ensure that exemplary facilities services are provided at site
  • Management of the IFM contract including all technical services on site
  • Responsible for managing a strong workforce
  • Accountable for multimillion turnover contract
  • Full P and L accountability
  • Manage and control the services to the agreed specification and to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets
  • Provide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting Sodexo strategies and best business practices in order to uphold the Company mission and values
  • Ensure strong client relationship is developed and maintained, allowing for organic growth opportunities
  • Maintain strong client relationships

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of having operated successfully within an outsourced integrated facilities management environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of managing FM services with strong technical services experience
  • Minimum of City & Guilds Craft Qualification Certificate and demonstrable experience in a trade discipline
  • Contractual knowledge of services sold and implementation of operating standards
  • Ability to engage with service line experts to deliver high standards of service
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Ability to understand data, spot trend and prepare reports – highly analytical
  • People skills, experience in people management, creating a one team approach
  • IOSH Certificate in Managing Safely
