Housekeeper

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for:

 

Check meeting rooms in morning, clean dust tidy when required (also throughout the day)

Clean kitchens in morning, tables, and surfaces

Empty Bins in kitchen (as required)

Clean microwaves in kitchen (as required)

Clean kitchens in afternoon, tables, and surfaces

General dusting and cleaning on office on both floors

Assist with coffee pod as and when required (Assist & serve behind coffee pod, wash dishes, empty bin, help tidy coffee pod at end of day)

Hospitality (delivers lunch, teas and coffees to rooms and clears away when finished)

Clean, dust and replenish paper trays in the print hubs and break out areas

Dust & clean telepresence room daily

Help out in mailroom with any day to day tasks as and when required.

Help with a room move (moving or stacking chairs) as and when required

Empty any bins out in general office floor as and when required

Clean Glass panels on all doors (2nd & 3rd floors)

Assist with any deliveries to office as and when required

Escort Shred it or Contractor around floors on site as and when required

Clean glass walls on meeting rooms as and when required

Replenish Cleaners cupboard with stock as and when required

Stock take as and when required

Wash kitchen facings in both kitchen as and when required, clean and tidy any storage cupboard in kitchens as and when required

Clean any spillages reported on a day to day basis

Clean and dust first aid room weekly

Check and clean door handles, card readers light switches etc

Replenish white roll, washing up liquid and scourers in kitchens

All Adhoc tasks on a day to day basis as directed by Facilities Co-ordinator, Reception & Supervisor.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

 

  • Experience of general cleaning methods and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An awareness of health and safety requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work on one’s initiative
  • Self motivated
  • Well presented
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • BICs cleaning qualification or equivalent is also desirable, but not essential
