Head of Integrated Food Management Process (DRIVE)

Job Introduction

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Integrated Food Management Process. In this project focussed role, you will lead the design, development and deployment of global/regional food processes and frameworks for Sodexo’s Food Management Process – Known as DRIVE. The DRIVE process includes centralised food category & menu management, stock keeping & supply management, demand planning & forecasting, product & ingredient ordering and logistics & distribution.

Role Responsibility

  • Improve Food Performance through the preparation and deployment of the DRIVE process throughout all Segments in the UK & Ireland
  • Oversee the development, deployment & maintenance of the Integrated Food Management Process (DRIVE) in line with the Global Model. This is split into two elements

Operational processes – document each part of the process and ensure that it is deployed effectively. This would include the following processes

  • Recipe/menus development
  • Production planning
  • Ordering
  • Stocktaking
  • Supplier payment (Procure to Pay)
  • Point of Sale

This will require ability to:

  • Establish strong, effective and collaborative relationships with Global Food Platform VP Applications and Process, IST Competency Centres, HSE, Supply Management, Service Design, Culinary SME’s Deployment & Strategy and Regional/Country IFMP Deployment Project Managers.
  • Develop deep understanding and knowledge about the IFMP.
  • Apply the necessary tools and methodology to design the Way We Work (What and How) for the IFMP.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrable experience of leading/deploying a similar large scale project
  • Experience within food services/contract catering arena
  • Strong knowledge of food management processes, applications, design and implementation.
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities, illustrating proficiency in both verbal and written communications.
  • Exemplify a high degree of personal integrity and interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Prove a willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones, implementation deadlines and the like.

Desirable

  • Degree or qualifications within project management
