Head of Asset Management Strategy and Standards
Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Asset Management Strategy and Standards to work with and influence all internal teams delivering asset management services in order to create a coordinated approach for service delivery across all our client accounts. This is a challenging yet very exciting role, you will be responsible for shaping the asset management strategy for the UK and Ireland whilst informing our client’s approach to Asset Management. The scope covers all lifecycle activities and the coordination and optimisation of these. The ASM will lead a significant change programme and will also lead a team of 3 direct reports.
We can be flexible on location as the role will involve lots of travel to client sites around the UK so you must be flexible to travel. We are looking for candidates with previous senior experience within a strategic asset management role, strong leadership skills and experience coupled with the desire to get your hands dirty and the job done when needed. Role Responsibility
- Lead and facilitate the development of the asset management framework within the client organisation
- Understand client drivers and business objectives
- Understand existing processes and create future operating models
- Act as the visionary; develop the client’s requirements for an asset management framework, ensuring this meets their business drivers
- Develop and manage the programme for implementing Asset management
- Ensure the embedded Asset Management processes meet the clients business objectives
- Enabling customer decisions to be made based on the factual and intelligent MI that is provided
- Create recommendations and business cases to improve the asset management system; processes, standards, data requirements, and specific projects, people roles, resources etc.
- Develop Asset Strategy produces/processes as required and grow the team capability
- Ensure the processes used are consistent across the Asset Strategy Team with other clients
