Job Introduction

We have an excellent opportunity for a Head Chef to join the Sodexo team at Everton Football Club, where we provide a range of hospitality services, on match days and high profile events. This role involves leading the kitchen operations to deliver service excellence whilst managing the day to day activities.

Role Responsibility

You will ensure all costs are within budget, complete forecasting and work with the commercial team to ensure accurate levels of reporting. Writing menus you will continuously work to develop and improve the food proposition at Everton Football Club. You will have responsibility for recruiting and training the kitchen team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and drive aspects of service excellence. You will be responsible for overseeing the complete operation and managing to a high standard, ensuring optimum client satisfaction and continuously looking to drive improvements within a safe and compliant environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrate experience of working in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level in a company
  • Good numerical and communication skills, must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication
  • Management knowledge of health & safety and food safety
  • Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
  • Analyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions
  • May be required to work unsociable hours in line with business requirements
  • Flexibility on work schedule will be required at times
