Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Hall Porter to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

  1. To have a full knowledge of all areas which have to be covered in the course of duty.
  2. To operate within all Sodexo policies and procedures as required.
  3. To complete appropriate paperwork on commencement and completion of shift.
  4. To maintain high standards of operational and personal hygiene.
  5. To work as a member of a team or alone as working hours dictate
  6. To offer excellent customer service to all customers
  7. To report all defects to current maintenance contractor
  8. To take accommodation bookings either by phone, fax or email
  9. To issue keys to client and colleagues
  10. To issue accommodation bills and collect accommodation monies
  11. To report fire alarms, as per training given
  12. To sort and redirect mail daily
  13. To clear and refill coffee room to include replenishing tea, coffee milk and sugar when necessary
  14. Issue bag meals out of hours
  15. Conduct night rounds to ensure building is secure

The Ideal Candidate

Must have a good working knowledge of spoken and written English.  Previous experience of customer service would be ideal.  Preferably computer literate.  Full training and development in the Sodexo 5 Star training plan will be given. Sodexo fully supports NVQ attainment as appropriate.
