HR and Business Support Administrator

Job Introduction

As HR and Business Support Administrator you will provide support in recruiting, engagement and absence management in order to recruit, develop and retain the quality and quantity of employees needed for local operations and implementing Company personnel policies and practices.

We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational and skills the ability to prioritise workloads with a desire to learn new skills.

Role Responsibility

  • Provide support in the recruitment of site based roles including completing the correct forms, advertising, interviewing etc.
  • Complete all administration, including offer letters and contracts, in the recruitment process
  • Provide support for Engagement Initiatives at site
  • Compile monthly and weekly data for payroll and management reporting
  • Take responsibility for content and upkeep of HR Notice Boards on site
  • Complete weekly and monthly payroll checks to comply with audit requirements
  • Provide note taking support for HR/ER meetings including disciplinary, grievance, and LTS meetings
  • Work with multiple levels of employees across the TVF site to deliver HR Services

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience of HR Administration
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards
  • 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above, including English and Math
  • Strong IT skills – Word, Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible and able to respond quickly in a dynamic working environment
  • Ability to work as part of a varied team
  • Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail

Desirable:                                                                                       

  • HND or HNC in HR or Business Related Discipline
  • Experience of working within an IiP framework
  • Basic understanding of the objectives of the food manufacturing, Service or Facilities Management industry.
