HR Data and Reporting Specialist

Job Introduction

We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join the team as HR Data and Reporting Specialist, this role sits within our HR Service Centre and is responsible for the delivery of routine and adhoc reporting.Managing a team you will support the systems and processes that are key to the successful operation and strategy of HR Services.  You will supervise the day to day performance and service delivery of HR Data & Reporting Analyst operations within the HR Service Centre and to continually review service performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Role Responsibility

This role involves managing the delivery of scheduled HR reports, on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, in addition to working on specific working groups and projects as the specialist HR reporting subject matter expert. With team management responsibilities this role will draw upon your analytical and reporting skills in addition to your stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Manage the regular collation, analysis and presentation of HR MI from a variety of sources.
  • Collate, audit and maintain data
  • Design and deliver HR dashboard, analytics and human capital metrics as well as routine and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring that data requests are completed within agreed SLAs
  • Determine and manage standard report design in SAP HCM and UDC Payroll through to delivery
  • Identify opportunities for more effective use of HR management information
  • Support the HR Systems Manager in the delivery of HR Systems operations within the Shared Service Centre and escalate issues as and when appropriate
  • Identify ways to motivate, develop and increase morale of the HR Data and Reporting team, through designing development plans and through team huddles and regular team briefings
  • Completing team PDRs, carrying out 1:1s, recruitment of new team members, new starter inductions and deliver necessary training to new starters 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to translate data into coherent value adding MI to enable sound decision making
  • Highly organised and responsive, with ability to work to SLAs and tight deadlines
  • Experience in creating reporting frameworks
  • Numerate and a lateral thinker, good at data analysis, with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Sound stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new change methodology and tools
