HR Business Partner - South
We have a rare opportunity to join our Sports & Leisure business as a HR Business Partner; working across our diverse range of venues in the south this role involves partnering with business leaders to enable the delivery of HR solutions whilst driving engagement. You will contribute to business performance through maximising people performance, deploying business strategy and overseeing workforce planning. Working closely with your stakeholders you will strive to improve people management across the region, coaching and empowering your management team to make timely, efficient decisions whilst rolling out the wider people agenda. Using HR Analytics, you will identify areas for improvement and develop interventions for change, with clear deliverable improvements. Taking accountability for improvements across your region, you will be involved in a variety of projects that will impact overall business performance. Through coaching and communication you will reduce the number of ER cases by proactively improving the implementation of HR policy and procedures. Working with the central transactional teams, you will ensure the business area receives a joined up HR service through regular communication and building relationships. Due to the nature of the workforce and high number of casual employees, you will need to continuously monitor and ensure labour targets are met, recommending appropriate interventions to support the operational teams where required. This is a highly autonomous role, where you will utilise your business partnering experience to build relationships, drive business performance and impact employee engagement.
The Ideal Candidate
- CIPD Qualified
- HR generalist experience and good understanding of all aspects of HR Management including resourcing, talent management/succession planning, change management and employee relations
- Understanding of human capital measurement and delivery of performance improvement interventions
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Good interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills
