Role Responsibility

The Guest Relations Manager works alongside the Front of House, Reservations and Sales team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
To oversee the boarding and welcoming of customers to deliver the best first impression and generate repeat business.
To allocate tables to meet guest’s needs and maximize revenue generating opportunities.
To ensure that service standards and booking procedures are followed at all times.
To participate in efficient service recovery to prevent damages to business reputation.
Oversees the creation of host sheets that comprise all upgrades, pre-orders and dietary requirements.
Updates teams on bookings pick up.
Creates table plans for all cruises.
Manages guest feedback to ensure customer correspondence is dealt with.
Oversees boarding procedure for all cruises.
Promotes a culture of quality and hospitality amongst the Front of House and Reservations teams.
Takes ownership of the Bateaux Feedback email account.
Supports with TripAdvisor and other social media responses.
Oversees the reservations procedures in the absence of the Reservations Managers.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Basic numeracy
Computer literate
Effective telephone manner
Experience in dealing with customer complaints and reviews
