Group Head Chef

Job Introduction

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly professional Group Head Chef to look after 3 sites in Brighton area and deliver our Modern Recipe food program. You can read about Modern Recipe and our food initiatives here.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Deliver the food program within the Modern recipe guidelines
  • Drive profitability for both Sodexo and client through excellence in execution
  • Consult on designs and develop appropriate solutions for the kitchen & restaurant services
  • Project manage key projects in food transformation
  • Lead recruitment process on key food positions within the contract
  • Develop, implement and manage site business and training plan
  • Be an ambassador of the Modern recipe brand
  • Deliver on all Operating Brands offers to Company specifications as requested
  • Maintain all levels of food hygiene throughout the preparation areas
  • Reporting any Health & Safety / Food & Safety issues
  • Ensuring good levels of customer service and care

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • IT Skills
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as executive chef or group head chef in blue chip company
  • P&L experience
  • Strong financial awareness and understanding of budgets
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to manage teams of people
  • Impeccable culinary skills
  • Client customer communication skills, with the ability to develop long term relationships
  • Passion for food and service delivery

Desirable

  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • IT skills
  • Personal development and improvement skills
