Groundskeeper
Job Introduction
We currently have an opportunity for a Groundskeeper to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.
Role Responsibility
- Undertaking grounds maintenance, horticultural and related tasks within the designated site to the required specifications and quality standards
- Undertaking all grass cutting e.g. edge trimming, general pruning and trimming
- Undertaking the watering of plants and beds on site
- Undertaking the cleaning and litter picking of areas using machinery to do this as well as the collection and removal of any waste arising from activities
- Conduct relevant preventive maintenance checks of machinery provided for the undertaking of ground maintenance
- Implement the principles and the practices of the Health and Safety and Assurance at work and customer care whilst at work including reporting to your line manager any hazards, unsafe procedures or systems
- To ensure appropriate company paper work is completed daily, weekly and monthly, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your work place, Undertaking the annual PAT testing across the site, assist with room setup as and when required and cleaning of the internal windows.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Driving licence
- Knowledge and experience of Grounds Keeping
Desirable
- A background in PAT Testing but please note full training will be provided
