We have an excellent opportunity for a General Manager to join the Sodexo hospitality team at Everton Football Club for Sodexo, leading the Sodexo team on site and managing client relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about service, can motivate and lead a team whilst ensuring a profitable and high performing operation.

Role Responsibility

This role reports into a Regional Director and involves leading, developing and managing a high performing team, ensuring the client is happy and confident in the services provided. You will support the Director in the development of business strategy, in line with current and emerging client needs. This role will ensure a high quality of service is provided on site and will lead on account development plans. Supporting the business development and regional management teams you will identify opportunities with other clients to maximise profit and growth. We are keen to appoint someone who can not only nurture client relationships but develop the team, acting as a Champion for retention for Investors in People.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience in delivering public retail and high quality hospitality operations
  •  Proven experience in managing P&L accounts
  •  Proven operational knowledge, skills and experience in managing multi-site/multi service operations
  •  Manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities
  •  Expertly manage senior client relationships
  •  Highly developed communication skills
  • Deliver excellence in operational service standards and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate resilience when faced with multiple business challenges
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees at all levels
