Garrison Operations Administrator

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Garrison Operations Administrator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

  • Preparation, drafting, creation and revision of Garrison duty rosters forecast in support of Garrison Sergeant Major (GSM)
  • Administration of Garrison fire reports
  • Monitoring of Garrison social media site, responding to or escalating highlighted issues
  • Provide administrative support/cover for security and vetting administrator during leave, sickness etc
  • Liaison with Garrison associated unit’s and external agencies, contractors and stakeholders
  • Recording and distribution of Public Military Events (PMEs) to chain of command and Police as appropriate
  • Preparation and co-ordination of Workplace Induction training packages for all new starters.
 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Effective and efficient in written and verbal communication
  • Proven analytical and planning skills
  • Proficient in IT skills, particularly XL spreadsheets and use of Sharepoint.
  • Social media: skilled in setting up, monitoring and managing accounts
  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Persuasive and persistent in achieving challenging objectives
  • Good judgement essential
  • Able to see the big picture
  • Able to make effective decisions
  • Ability to foster and promote effective collaboration and partnerships
  • Manage and prioritise workload to deliver a quality service in a timely manner
  • Deliver effects quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision
