Front of House Team Leader
Job Introduction
The job comprises of the following:-
- completion of pre service checks
- completion of stock take in accordance with sodexo policy and time lines
- Effective leadership of the front of house operation
- Ensuring service set up is completed on time for start of Service
- serving the customers with a smile and a can do attitude
-Having good channels of communication with the chef to ensure stock levels are maintained
-General food preparation - Assist in the prepartion of food as instructed by the Head Chef
- Paperwork compliance - Ensure all paperwork is completed in Full and on time to ensure corporate compliance includes temperature checks & cleaning Schedules
- Cash Handling- Ensure all cash handling is completed in line with current sodexo policy
- Cleaning - Ensure all areas you work in are left in a clean state, ensure all areas that are not cleaned are addressed or highlighted to the head Chef.
- Stock ordering and Counting - Stock Ordering will be required as and when directed by the Head chef. Stock Counting will be required as and when directed by the Head Chef
- Health & Safety - Ensure any unsafe occurances are reported to the Head Chef or Site director immediately.
-Vending - Ensure vending machine is regularly check and filled and all relevant paperwork is completed
- Ensure drinks fridge & staff shop are kept well stock .
-Undertake any training that is required to fulfil the job role effectively
The above tasks may be added to and should not be taken in isolation and when the operational requirement needs this could be expanded
The Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Have experience in a food service environment
- Have good customer Service
- Ability to work occasional Weekend, Evening & Bank Holidays
- Evidence of working as part of a team
- Good level of English both written & spoken
Desirable
- Be an effective communicator to all levels
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- Basic PC ability
Package Description
Front of House Team Leader Responsible for a small team working 5 days out of 7, Mainly week days but will require some weekend work and the occasional evening shifts to Cover sickness and Holiday.
