Front of House / Retail Shift Leader

This is a great opportunity to join the hospitality and catering team at Merville Barracks in a leadership/supervisory role where you can contribute to providing our service personnel with the high quality facilities and services they deserve.
We have been working with the Ministry of Defence since 1986 and provide a wide range of services to support British servicemen and women serving in the United Kingdom and overseas.
Our catering, retail and leisure facilities have been developed to combine high street style restaurants, cafés, bars, shops and leisure services
Role Responsibility
As a Shift Leader, you will be customer facing and representing Sodexo on a daily basis. You will be expected to communicate with our customers in a professional and approachable manner helping to create a home away from home for our soldiers and ensure your team do the same.
Your role will require you to use and supervise the use of EPOS tills as well as completion minor food cooking and preparation tasks and serving behind hotplates. You may also be required to complete various cleaning tasks in line with cleaning schedules but would primarily be delegating and following up on these tasks.
Your secondary role is as a duty shift leader where you will be required to support all departments across the Centre and act as a Responsible Person in the absence of the manager.

Must be available to work shifts between 06:00 & 22:30 Monday - Sunday.
