Front of House Manager - 3 months fixed term contract/secondment opportunity

Sodexo is looking for a Front of House Manager
to ensure that visitors and clients are received in an excellent and professional manner and that all reception areas operate a high quality service at all times.

 

 

Role Responsibility


 
 To supervise the professional greeting of clients and visitors, to the highest standards.
 Leading, monitoring, motivating and inspiring the team; providing guidance and support. 
 Review of existing standards and procedures while implementing new best practices to ensure a seamless delivery of Front of House Services 
 On-going development of skills and knowledge for the FOH team. 
 Produce, manage and operate the reception rota, checking future planned absences, planning cover and ensuring overtime is provided when necessary 
 Manage the implementation for any change or upgrade in software systems 
 Monitor budget and produce weekly/monthly reporting where applicable 
 Supervise the co-ordination of VIP Functions and events. 
 Review the uniform requirements and source new suppliers if needed 
 Management of the administration of the locations inboxes & General Queries 
 Management of Host/Hostess requirements at locations 
 Ensure client’s security and emergency procedures are adhered to at all times 
 Manage improvements to the current processes and procedures to ensure best possible systems are in place 
 Creative and diplomatic with real attention to detail 
 Ability to manage multiple high profile visitors at one time 
 Flexible - willing to go the extra mile when needed to successfully deliver a project 
 Provide all services in a professional and efficient manner to both internal and external customers, ensuring customer requirements are met and expectations are managed 
 Deliver excellent time management skills: ability to plan, multi-task and prioritise work to ensure all activities are completed within deadlines 
 Provide effective communication with colleagues and users to ensure customer expectations are met and managed to meet the client’s Service Level 
 Close collaboration with the Client Event Team – working with the team and their systems 
 Flexibility to travel between client locations to support requirements 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential 
 Commitment to Sodexo culture and service delivery 
 Ability to manage teams remotely 
 Ability to work on own initiative 
 Ability to work under pressure whilst never compromising professional service delivery 
 Friendly and approachable personality with the ability to operate in a confident manner 
 Close liaison with other service teams especially Security, Facilities (AV, Cleaning, Porterage, Events) and Catering 
 Excellent communication and “people” skills 
 Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to operate in a confident, polite and approachable manner 
 Motivated and innovative 
 Previous relevant experience within event / conference management 
 Management of team
