Front of House General Assistant

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Front of House General Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

As a Front of House General Assistant you will be responsible for:

Assisting with the preparation of and the serving of all meals and beverages to customers between three Catering outlets

Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy

Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed Cleanliness and replenishing of vending machines

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

Previous deli and restaurant experience (although training will be given)

Possess good customer service skills

Good communication skills - written and verbal

The ability to demonstrate great team work

The ability to follow instructions

Work well within a team environment as well as on their own

To join our retail team working in our busy staff and visitor restaurant, serving fresh food, deli sandwiches, salads, hot drinks and snacks with a smile.

To make a difference to every customer who uses our service and give them a moment to remember that brightens there day.

A smile, a helping hand to the table, prompt service and a friendly atmosphere are what we deliver to each and every customer.

Working as part of a small team and one big family .

Hours of work are between 1030-1530 ,or 1200-1600, initially supporting with a busy breakfast service and lunch and supporting at the till point .

Product knowledge and food safety are key. Someone witha previous background delivering service excellence in catering, retail or hospitality
