Food and Beverage Assistant (Restaurant)

Job Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Food and Beverage Assistant for our restaurant to provide day to day table service to the customers. Additionally to ensure standards of preparation, cleaning, delivery service etc. meet the needs of the company and client.

Role Responsibility

As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will be responsible for:

 

  • Ensuring the correct standard is set and adhered to in all areas of service delivery - to include room set-up, food and beverage delivery
  • Ensuring that company and client statutory regulations regarding hygiene, health and safety, fire and security are complied with at all times and that all services provided and presented to the quality and standards agreed and maintain consistency throughout
  • Ensuring all duties are completed within set time scales
  • Adhering to purchasing and stock take procedures - stock levels and effective rotation reporting at all times in line with the business
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all hospitality areas and in all tasks and duties carried out within the team - with special regard for personal hygiene and appearance
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duty that may be requested by management that pertains to the total operation of Sodexo

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

 

  • Previous experience working in a restaurant
  • The ability to plan and prioritise
  • The ability to be able to work flexible times (some evenings)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • An eye for detail
