Food Service Co-Ordinator - Limerick

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a Food Service Coordinator to work in the one of our Limerick sites.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.

Role Responsibility

  • Preparation of and the serving of all meals and beverages to customers, ensuring great customer service at all times
  • Using the till, serve customers and cash up at the end of service
  • Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy, assisting with waste removal and washing up
  • Hospitality in Apollo Meeting rooms
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
  • Completing any administration as requested including food temperatures, wastage and cleaning schedules
  • Effective management of stock and portion control
  • Food Ordering
  • Stock Takes
  • Banking
  • To raise any issues or customer suggestions and complaints to the Catering Manager
  • To act in the interests of your own safety and the safety of others at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a food service environment
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • The ability to demonstrate great team work
  • experience in Stocktaking and cash handling /Banking an advantage

Monday to Friday

40 hours per week
