Food Service Assistant

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a highly talented and driven person to work in the one of our Limerick sites.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.

Role Responsibility

Assisting with the preparation of and the serving of all meals and beverages to customers, ensuring great customer service at all times
Using the EPOS till, serve customers and cash up at the end of service
Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy, assisting with waste removal and washing up
Some food Preparation may be needed
Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
Completing any administration as requested including food temperatures, wastage and cleaning schedules
Assisting in the effective management of stock and portion control
To raise any issues or customer suggestions and complaints to the Catering Manager
To act in the interests of your own safety and the safety of others at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience in a food service environment
Good customer service skills
Good communication skills – written and verbal
The ability to demonstrate great team work
Need to be flexible as will be required to cover holiday and sickness
Must have own Transport as Morning Finish
