Food Service Assistant

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a Food Service Assistant to work in one of our Limerick sites.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.

Role Responsibility

Serving and clean up after lunch service.
Prep for evening meal, service and clean up of same.
General kitchen duties eg wash up, cleaning, some food prep eg sandwiches or when chef needs assistance.
Keeping the areas clean and tidy, making display areas look presentable.
Tea / coffee making
Client hospitality

The Ideal Candidate

Knowledge of Health and Food safety
Experience working in a kitchen or catering environment is essential.
The role requires being able to use initiative and work under pressure in some instances.
Having good people skills and being able to communicate professionally with customers and client.

Package Description

Food Service Assistant

Monday to Friday

36 hours per week - 12.00pm – 7.30 pm Monday to Thursday

10.00pm -4.00pm Friday
