Food Service Assistant

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a highly talented and driven person to work in the one of our Dublin sites.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their work load and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.

Role Responsibility

  • Working in the kitchen preparing food items for the Sandwich bar and Salad bar
  • Preparation and delivery of hospitality
  • Working on the till and serving customers.
  • Regardless of the task being completed legislative standards of health and food safety are to be maintained and Sodexo company policies and procedures are to be adhered to in order to provide a first class service to our client, their site employees and visitors.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must be eligible to work full time hours.
  • A good command of English is essential.
  • While this is a day shift there will be a requirement to cover periods of holiday and sickness cover including evening shifts and public holidays.
  • The client's business will also require periods of overtime on weekends and bank holidays.
  • Cross training of another service – mailroom - will be included as we self-cover leave
