General Manager (Catering)

Job Introduction

We are seeking a commercially focused General Manager (Catering) at the height of their game, to run a multi-million-pound food business, at the prestigious HQ of one of our key strategic global accounts. This flagship site, based in Zone 4 West London, has multiple outlets covering everything from a full-service restaurant, through to coffee bars, pop ups, and a busy hospitality business.

Role Responsibility

As General Manager (Catering) you will thrive on driving sales, and increasing profitability, through a truly customer centric approach. All while ensuring that your team delivers outstanding levels of service to a demanding and knowledgeable customer base.
This is a fantastic role that requires a big personality with bags of resilience, and a hands-on approach to leading their team. It goes without saying that you will be confident and assertive, and used to dealing with senior stakeholders across the business.
The ideal candidate will have previously managed a commercial food services P&L account, in a high profile corporate environment, and will have experience of motivating and leading a large team of more than 50 staff.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in the role of General Manager (Catering) we ask that you have the following:
•    Outstanding credentials as a business leader in a food/hospitality operation, ideally in a corporate HQ environment
•    Strong leadership skills
•    Proven commercial operator
•    Have the ability to engage and lead a large team
•    Experience in managing multi outlet or multi-site contracts
•    Experience of working in a contract catering environment, in a client facing role.
•    Experience of new openings and mobilizations of contracts would also be highly desirable.
