Finance Analyst

Job Introduction

Sodexo are currently recruiting an experienced part qualified / qualified Finance Analyst to work in our Healthcare segment. You will assist and support the Finance Manager in related financial duties ensuring accurate, efficient and timely trading of accounts information, financial accounting and reporting relating to the Wythenshawe PFI contract and a number of NHS (Non-PFI) and residential care sites in the North Region. Role Responsibility

  • Support on-site finance admin and operational teams to deliver weekly and monthly trading, payroll and reporting processes to comply with Company Standards within the identified timescales and deadlines.
  • Assist in providing regular and ad-hoc MI, analysis and reporting, including weekly analysis and interrogation, ensuring compliance in trading procedures for E-ProphIT returns
  • Raise accurate client invoices for all regular services and ad-hoc work, ensuring appropriate back-up is provided.
  • Calculate fixed bill uplifts and support the finance manager and operations management in the pricing and administration of variations.
  • Participate in weekly site finance reviews to review weekly / monthly KPIs with site operations and lead in the absence of the finance manager.  Monitor agreed actions and outcomes.
  • Compile the monthly Wythenshawe FIN with supporting back-up and support on-site NHS teams in compiling the monthly FINs with back-up.
  • Work with the Finance manager and operations to support the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts submissions. Update and circulate all budget/forecast models to Operations.
  • Support the Finance Manager and Operational Management in delivering the monthly finance review and reporting process
  • Assist the Finance Manager in providing insightful and accurate analysis to support all significant decision making on the contracts.

 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Qualified / Part qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Strong IT and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to generate meaningful management information, produce financial reports in a clear and concise manner for financial and non-financial personnel
  • Management accounts experience and strong attention to detail
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting effectively with customers, client and staff of all levels
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload

Desirable

  • SAP and Essbase skills
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience of working with non-finance colleagues

 

Other information

  • Some potential unsocial hours to meet deadlines
  • Some potential travel to various sites, which are nationwide
