Finance Analyst – Supply Management
Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join our Service Operations finance team based in Stevenage. Responsible for the analysis of up to £580m of supplier spend, this role is a very important part of the Service Operations Finance structure. The successful candidate will encounter a wealth of exposure to detailed pricing and inflation analytics for the finance team as well as business partnering with the Supply Management Team to provide support and healthy challenge and verification of supply chain savings contributions.

Role Responsibility
- Management of Inflation Reporting to provide a clear view at UK & Ireland and specific segment level of the impact of external inflation on the costs of Sodexo goods and services
- Comparison of external inflation measurements to internal inflation measurements to objectively assess the performance of the buying teams
- Clearly reporting and articulating the impact of inflation on segments or contracts using either trend analysis or specific deep dives and contract analysis based upon vendor and product categories
- Independently verifying the costs and benefits of Supply Chain initiatives to help ensure that they will deliver the savings expected. Working with the buying team to challenge, clarify and guide from a financial perspective
- Liaison with the Group reporting team to understand and support with developments in Supply Management reporting and then communicating key changes to the buying teams so that they are clear about their targets and how to achieve them
- Liaison with Market Analysts – e.g. Mintec to provide insight and training to the buying community
- Communicating the impact of inflation to the wider business through contributing to the production of the market trends reports
- Setting targets and budgets for all elements of supply management initiatives, and providing reports and schedules, both Group facing and Segment facing, to articulate the nature and value of initiatives
