Facilities Support Technician
Job Introduction
To work within the Sodexo Team on site in GSK Cork, the FST will support the hard services delivery in performing facilities based front line maintenance and FM services
The FST will be required to complete service and maintenance to a number of facilities based services, working with the client to provide support, primarily to portable appliance testing and first line maintenance to a/c and fire extinguishers, (training will be provided). Other services will be introduced from time to time. The FST will be required to complete on site GMP training and work within the GMP areas of a large pharmaceutical site, ongoing training will be required.
Role Responsibility
- Portable appliance testing
- First line reactive service to split type air conditioning
- Monthly PPM to fire extinguishers
- PPM service to washroom facilities
- PPM to AV systems
- Lift inspections
- First line roller shutter reactive service
- Co Ordinate Permits to Work
- Co Ordinate asset registers on SAP
- Co Ordinate site reactive ticket system (Solvex)
- Raise, action & close work orders
- Supervision of central stores
- Technical cleaning support
- Technical catering support
- Specialist housekeeping of MCCS and Plant Rooms
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent written & Spoken English
- Experience with PAT testing equipment
- Good computer literacy experience with SAP
- Basic understanding of air conditioning units and their operation
- Experience in working at height
- Use of PPE
- Mechanical experience
- Flexibility with working hours
- Full driving licence
- Ability to work on their own initiative
- Client liaison
- Able to work as part of a wider team of both technical and non-technical people
Competences desirable…
- Fork lift truck licence
- D Class driving licence
- GMP Experience
- Electrical qualification
