Soft Services Facilities Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to join our team, working on a large blue-chip client site in High Wycombe. We are looking for a charismatic, driven individual to provide thought leadership on all IFM service delivery, whilst continually looking to implement new initiatives within operations to demonstrate forward moving business innovations to the client. You will act as a Health, Safety and Engagement subject matter expert on site, and also be responsible for managing the P&L to maximize profit and control budgets.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing medium to large sites, multi-disciplined across building diverse teams. You will have a strong background in Soft Services (including Catering) and have knowledge of delivering Hard Services. Exceptional client relationship management skills are key to this role. We are looking for an enthusiastic people person to work closely with the on-site teams to drive a positive, engaged workforce.

Role Responsibility

• To provide strategic leadership to the site & contract in order to deliver significant business growth.
• Point of escalation and issue resolution for all issues on site.
• Pro- actively develop and build the client relationships at site.
• To implement and maintain business improvement, process standardisation and improvement in all areas.
• To provide thought leadership on all IFM service delivery and act as an H&S & Engagement SME for the site.
• Jointly responsible with line manager for delivery of business targets and maximising the profitability of the contract and deliver the required results.
• Lead, develop, manage and motivate a high performing team to the agreed standards ensuring that the client receives services of the highest quality.
• Ensure a safe, compliant environment for our teams and customers by ensuring processes are followed and gaps identified and escalated to resolution.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential:

• Proven experience in managing medium to large sites, multi-disciplined across building diverse teams
• Proven experience in management of P&L accounts in excess of £2m
• Experience of Soft FM Services (Catering, Grounds & Cleaning)
• Exceptional client relationship management skills
• Development of commercially viable solutions based on rigorous techniques to understand client and contractual needs
• Manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities
• Ability to interpret and utilise complex and varied financial and commercial information
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees at all levels

Desirable:

• Facilities, Engineering, Technical or business qualification
• Experience in a pharmaceutical industry for large Blue Chip company
• Experience of Hard FM Services

Package Description

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum + bonus + benefits
