Role Responsibility

• To provide a high quality professional Property, Facilities and Asset Management service across the estate and ensure we are fully compliant with all statutory, corporate, lease and contractual requirements
• To diagnose/analyse complex commercial and technical situations relating to Property, Facilities and Asset Management across the estate and ensure that the Executive and its Board members are  provided with accurate and concise advice on all key risks and issues.
• To maximise the useful life of all physical assets, balancing the need to comply with individual requirements of the contracts whilst minimising expenditure and downtime during the lifetime of the asset and ensuring the Lifecycle Investment Funds remain in surplus
• To drive best practice solutions across Property, Facilities and Asset Management function and optimise Account growth and new Business Development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate

• Significant cross sector (including PPP) exposure at a strategic and operational level and multi million budget experience with a proven track record of Customer Relationship and Financial Management.
• Substantial, quantifiable experience of controlling multi site Total Facility Management and Capital Projects contracts involving hard and soft services

• Excellent commercial and negotiating skills, strong contractual understanding with considerable experience of managing change through direct delivery, strategic outsourcing and partnering with specialist service providers
• A progressive, dynamic, assertive and flexible approach to delivery of FM Services including Life Cycle Investment and Catering
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• A strong track record in Business Development including Mobilisation,  dealing with sub-contractors and supply chain within a complex multi-faceted operation
