Facilities Co-ordinator

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Facilities Co-ordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

To work closely with Accommodation and Facilities teams to provide a seamless service.

Post Holder comes into contact with customers/clients/suppliers on a daily basis and needs to exercise discretion and excel in customer service.

Post Holder to acquire a thorough working knowledge of the campus, its layout, services provided, its policies and procedures and key personnel.

Deal with enquiries and requests for producing reports and back up information.

Provide information and work sheets for the facilities team - prioritising the urgency of tasks.

Assist the Facilities Manager in planning summer operations.

Issuing keys, electronic fob access systems..

Deal with daily mail

Attend emergency situations.

Assist the Facilities Manager in e.g. termly inspections, check outs etc.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proven experience in office based skills to use room service to take payments
  • Proven experience in prioritising workload
  • Computer literate
  • Comply with Health & Safety Regulations
  • To present a smart and courteous manner at all times

Desirable

  • Experience in similar accommodation environment, but not essential
  • Familiar with Sodexo policies and procedures

Package Description

Working Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. with occasional weekends.

First point of contact for enquiries, requests and comments regarding facilities services from tenants, clients and fellow colleagues.  Logs, prioritises and communicates reactive maintenance tasks.  Assists the Facilities Manager in scheduling and monitoring planned maintenance activity.
