As Front of House/Hospitality Manager, you’ll facilitate a large college consisting of 60 classrooms, an auditorium and 3 conference rooms. The college has 26 working environments so you will be able to work to strict deadlines and plan, organise and manage all guests to the centre including VIP and senior personnel.

 

You'll also ensure the hospitality of all guests is organised efficiently and that guests are greeted upon arrival. You must be customer focused and be able to deal with any issues as and when they arise.

We are dedicated to delivering the best quality as well as cost-efficiency in the delivery of infrastructure, facilities management, catering, and retail and leisure services to the armed forces community.

Role Responsibility

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and manage all guests visiting the centre
  • Ensure standards of cleanliness remain high at all times, ensuring any cleaning issues are dealt with as and when they arise
  • Facilitating the building and ensuring guests are greeted upon arrival
  • Embrace the principles of Collaborative Business Relationships (BS11000), in line with Sodexo’s vision and values

The Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge of working in a management role within the soft FM service industry
  • Proven track record of managing a busy visitor centre
  • Experience of dealing with senior personnel within a busy and fast paced role
  • Proven experience of managing cleaners and dealing with cleaning issues quickly and efficiently
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication
  • Able to make independent decisions
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
  • Able to analyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions

Desirable

  • Experience of working within military environment
  • Health and Safety qualification equivalent to IOSH managing safely
  • Soft FM specific technical skills including contract catering, hospitality, retail and cleaning knowledge and skills
