Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to work with the Head of Events and Head Chef at Peyton and Byrne. This role involves planning and taking responsibility for our smaller events, whilst still being able to support on large scale event planning. You will be working with the operations and planning team to develop and maintain all aspects of the Peyton Events offer, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry and lead with innovation and brand relevance.

Role Responsibility

The role will be responsible for creating and planning Peyton Events and developing an internal standard across the venues. The main focus of this role will be focussed on events at the National Gallery, you will be contacting customers, taking orders, being commercial in your recommendations to ensure the event meets expectations and passing all information across the kitchen and operations team. You will have some responsibility for managing costs, invoicing post event and ensuring procedures are followed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in the events and hospitality industry, has gained some initial knowledge and wants to progress their career in a market leading business.

 

The Ideal Candidate

The role requires a positive, enthusiastic individual who can adapt, ideally having gained some events or catering knowledge with an understanding for the flow of events. Highly organised, personable and professional with administrative skills is essential. This role will require working some evenings and weekends, around the events.
