Event Co-ordinator

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Event Co-ordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

 

  • Ensure that all information received directly from a client is managed correctly through the system.
  • Handle telephone & e-mail enquiries and ensure all queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently and uploaded onto site specific systems. 
  • Support the Administration Manager in the production of invoices post event
  • Liaise with the Sodexo team to ensure all client requirements are communicated and updated as necessary.
  • Compile and maintain departmental information folders
  • Responsible to liaise with the client on all requests for specific / bespoke events catering
  • Provide catering solutions which meet the client brief
  • Organise pre-tasting sessions where applicable
  • Present all costed quotations for requested events
  • Manage the Condeco booking system with updated signed off events
  • Liaise and confirm with the catering teams to support/staff functions
  • Mange the set up / break down of all events in line with brief from NBCU client
  • Work with Hospitality team on refreshing menu content
  • Set out training and induction program for external staff
  • Complete service planograms
  • Manage pre-service briefs and check lists
  • Appoint a responsible person for close down of functions/events
  • Administration and office duties as required
 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of event planning and administration
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Excellent organisational, Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management
  • Flexibility to work in conjunction with Business needs
  • Ability to multi-task
  • High attention to detail
