European Integration Specialist Officer

Job Introduction

Norfolk and Suffolk CRC are currently recruiting for a European Integration Specialist officer based at Norwich.

You will work with a range of colleagues and partners supporting the work of reducing reoffending and providing a service to community teams. You will contribute to reducing reoffending, changing lives for the better and improving the quality of life for those under CRC supervision through effective delivery of probation services.

In particular, this role will focus on supporting Norfolk and Suffolk CRC to deliver appropriate provision to European service users to the desired quality standards. This will be achieved through delivering Risk and Need assessed provision, being innovative and responsive to achieving continuous improvement and quality service delivery. You will also hold, assess and provide provision to a cohort of Eastern European service users. To work in partnership with other agencies and local stakeholders to ensure coordinated service delivery.

Role Responsibility

  • To undertake assessment of service users through the direct preparation and/or contribution to reports for courts and prisons in accordance with NSCRC policies and procedures, including Parole Reports, Breach Reports, Recall Reports and Home Detention Curfew Reports.
  • To supervise service user subject to statutory interventions on an on-going basis, as per the requirements of Sodexo Justice Standards for the supervision of service users in the Community, and to take enforcement action as appropriate
  • To contribute to the protection of the public through rigorous assessment and management of the risks posed by service users subject to statutory interventions.
  • To be responsible and accountable for the recording of all pertinent information relating to the management of service users, using electronic and written records in accordance with Norfolk & Suffolk Community Rehabilitation Company policies and procedures.
  • To liaise with other colleagues, external agencies and partners to ensure the effective management of offenders including, mental health services, attendance at Child Protection Conferences and other safeguarding meetings
  • To Risk escalate cases to the National Probation Service as required.
  • To develop and sustain effective working relationships with other agencies

Package Description

Band 4 salary £30,661 per annum

18.5 hours per week, defined contribution pension scheme, company sick pay, group discount scheme
