Domestic Assistant (Defence)

Role Responsibility
As a Domestic Assistantyou will be responsible for:
- Providing a cleaning service in a residential environment
- Maintaining the general cleanliness of the house and its immediate exterior
- Bed making
- Washing
- Ironing, and tasks of a similar nature
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Experience of general cleaning methods and techniques
- An awareness of health and safety requirements
- Attention to detail and the ability to work on one’s initiative are prerequisite
- A self motivated attitude
- Well presented
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- BICs cleaning qualification or equivalent are also desirable, but not essential
Package Description
This is a 40 hour per week position for a domestic assistant/house manager with working hours of 0800 - 1600 generally, with occasional evening shifts to silver serve formal dinners. The location of the position is in a Grade II listed building near Queen Camel.
The position includes a wide number of responsibilities, including, but not limited to, cleaning, laundry, ironing, making beds, dry cleaning, preparing military uniform, hosting guests, laying up and serving small formal dinner parties and breakfasts and ensuring that the house is maintained.
