We are currently recruiting a Despatch Manager to join Sodexo’s Food Manufacturing facility – a market leading manufacturer and supplier of cook chilled and frozen ready meals for customers within the Corporate, Health care, Education and Leisure industries.
You will ensure the safe, accurate and efficient storage, packing, picking and loading of all chilled and frozen products to customers. You will be responsible for three direct reports (Shift Supervisors) so previous team lead experience and great people skills will be essential for this role. A background in Chiiled and or Freezer Storage and Stock Control is also a must.

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a chilled /frozen food environment warehouse / despatch.
- Strong organisation skills.
- Fully computer literate with good standard of numeracy & literacy
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business.
- Ability to engage & motive the team across a 4 shift pattern.
- Familiarity of electronic order picking an advantage but not essential.
