Sodexo is looking for an experienced Deputy Facilities manager/Soft Services Lead to manage a team of 13 and actively work alongside the team to ensure all tasks are completed as required, including completing them as a member of the team when necessary. This is a really important role at a very prestigious, high profile site where you will oversee Reception, Business Lounge, Business Support, Cleaning, Catering and Hospitality Services.
Role Responsibility
Main Responsibilities will include:
Completion of weekly trading returns for services processed on site
Evaluate ideas for additional scope of work and additional services and recommend to the client as appropriate.
Working with the GSM to ensure the application of best practice
Reporting on SLAs and delivering action plans to ensure that SLAs are met/exceeded
Managing vendor compliance in line with Sodexo's procedures
Managing compliance including standard operating procedures, purchasing, statutory requirements (health and safety)
Responsible for the leadership of all employees including effective resource management, recruitment, induction, PDRs, development, coaching, employee engagement and performance management
Oversee labour management and ensure that this is being managed effectively
To be responsible for all day to day aspects relating to the management and maintenance of the Reception, Business Lounge, Business Support, Catering, Cleaning and Hospitality services and equipment within the contract specification to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.
To provide food and post service to the agreed standards in accordance with the Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators specified in the service contract
To actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site H&S compliance together with high levels of food hygiene.
To be responsible for scheduling of work within the specified details of the contract
Actively support and promote the “One Team” ethos of working and supporting between departments.
The Ideal Candidate
CIEH level 2 or equivalent
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
Proven experience working in the cleaning, food service, catering, and/or hospitality industry
Industry acumen and knowledge of catering developments & innovations
Good understanding of budget management
Experience in supervising a team
Personally driven to excel in all areas of visitor operation
