Demi Chef De Partie - Fixed Term

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a Demi Chef De Partie to work at NUI, Galway – working straight shifts 5 days over 7 ( 1 weekend in 4)

Role Responsibility

  • Preparation and cooking of food
  • Ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and tidy
  • Health and safety regulations, ensuring they are followed at all times
  • Delivering a world class customer experience to our customers and staff
  • Assisting in all areas of the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and hospitality
  • Assisting the Head Chef or Executive Chef with paperwork including stock ordering
  • Menu planning
  • Menu costings

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent craft skills
  • Previous chef experience and good communication skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate (advantageous but not essential)
  • Basic Health and Safety certificate (advantageous but not essential)
  • Good customer service skills

Package Description

Demi Chef de Partie - Fixed Term -  (3 month Post and further review end of May 2018)

37.5 hours per week

5/6 -  Sundays Off
