Custody Clerk (Scale 1)
Job Introduction
HMP Forest Bank are currently recruiting for a Scale 1 Custody Clerk. You will be part of a multi-tasked administration team performing a variety of duties to ensure the smooth running of the function, providing a service to the prison.
If you have great IT and literacy skills including Word and Excel and have the ability to work well under pressure whilst paying attention to detail this is a fantastic opportunity for you!

We deliver the total operation of five prisons within England, Scotland and Wales and own six Community Rehabilitation Companies in partnership with crime reduction charity Nacro.
Role Responsibility
- Provide general administration support with a focus on the preparation and maintenance of files.
- Manage administrative work and filing.
- Manage the effective archiving, retention and destruction of prisoner records. Keeping information stored safely. Safeguarding against incidents of information security breach.
- Deal with telephone and face to face queries.

The Ideal Candidate
- Good level of qualifications, administrative skills and experience.

- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Package Description
