Corporate Hospitality Butler

Job Introduction

To assist the management and Head Butler / Waiting Staff with the day to day hospitlaity service and to ensure that the standard of preparation, service and cleaning, are to the company'’ standard and client's satisfaction

Role Responsibility

 

  • To ensure that the preparation, presentation, and service are carried out promptly and adhere to the company standards
  • To ensure that the services are re-stocked as supplies run low and that all points of service run without delay.
  • To report and take action on any customer complaints or compliments and any incidents and accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage and unfit food or other irregularities.
  • Deliver high standards of personal performance, hygiene and appearance at all times and wear uniform supplied (maintaining impeccable personal appearance)
  • Comply with all Company and client policies, procedures and statutory regulations, including human resources, site rules, health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.  This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your workplace
  • To prepare and assist in any special functions which may sometimes occur outside of normal working hours.
  • Promote a good company image to customers and guests by using positive customer service practices
  • To ensure that an impeccable first impression is made to anyone visiting or contacting site
  • Ensure all visitors to are greeted in a professional manner
  • To assist in other areas of the premises and facilities department, promoting a one team approach.
  • To communicate effectively at all levels.
  • To deliver a consistent level of service, within the Company's standards, to the contract specification and agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets
  • Comply with all Company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH
  • To be agreed with Line Manager for particular location.  K.P.I’s to be monitored as part of performance review and appraisal process

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working in a similar industry such as food service, catering or hospitality.
  • Passion for food and wine with some basic wine and food knowledge

Desirable

  • Previous Butler experience
  • NVQ
  • Experience of working in an environment where compliance to standards is key.
