Cook / Housekeeper

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a highly talented and driven person to work in the one of our Wexford  sites.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.

You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.

 

 

Role Responsibility

Preparing meals and light house work

Ensure prompt provision and efficient service of all meals and catering requirements at the specified time

Receive and check goods-in goods against invoice for quantity and quality

Ensure that all goods are quickly and correctly stored away on rotation system following the rule first in, first out and comply with health and safety regulations

Liaise with the client if any changes are required to the preparation of meal.

To maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness in accordance with the company and client policies.

To adhere to all aspects of health and safety legislation and company policy ensuring your safety and the safety of colleagues and customers.

Complete the all HACCP charts daily.

Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by client and management

To prepare and assist in any special functions, which may sometimes be outside normal working hours.

Comply with Company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and Chemical safety.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good standard of oral and written English
  • Attention to detail
