Job Introduction
We currently have an opportunity for a Conference Bookings Agent to assist the Events & Conference Bookings Manager in the provision of meeting room services and customer support. Role Responsibility
- Managing the conference room, video conference room and event space booking service, providing enhanced support to a high number of meeting rooms at a variety of different sites
- Liaising closely with Catering, AV, and other in-house teams to provide the service support required by our clients and customers
- Being the first point of contact for all booking issues, providing a timely response and ensuring efficient and effective resolution
- Reporting faults immediately through the Remedy System or to supervisor as appropriate
- Co-ordinating all centrally bookable meeting room bookings in line with company policy and procedure
- Answering telephone calls within the specified response time
- Ensuring daily chases are carried out in a timely and efficient manner
- Diary management of the Events & Conference Bookings Manager
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong team player who can work on own initiative
- Experience within a customer-facing environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to proactively prioritise workload
